My name is Lorna and I am a writer, researcher and creative writing facilitator.

I am the the founder and director of social enterprise, Sharing A Story CIC and work on bold, a dementia research project at Edinburgh University and Queen Margaret University.

I have always loved words and writing and my background is in journalism, marketing and PR.

I am particularly interested in writing for health and well-being and the ways in which this can build confidence and self-esteem.

I am an avid reader and love making book recommendations. I think every library should have a bibliotherapist as words really do matter!

When I’m not reading or writing, I like running, walking my dog, family time, strong coffee and eating cake - in no particular order!

Please get in touch if you have any questions, or would like to know more about my work.
